Training

The average 3-Day walker puts in more than 400 miles to prepare for the 3-Day for the Cure. But it doesn't have to be a chore!

Watch the 3-Day site (and your email) for information on BC Babes training walks, which are guaranteed* to:
  • make you laugh
  • make you cry
  • expose you to food you didn't know existed (dill pickle wheat thins, anyone?)
Most importantly, training walks with the BC Babes will get you ready to walk 60 miles.

Picnic lunch during the 18-mile Stony Walk.
Today's taste test: Square crackers!

Most of our walks take place along the Metro Path or at
Stony Creek. In 2014,we wandered over to the
west side twice to walk with the
Hines Pink Pathers at Kensington.

Have poncho, will walk!
A "pop up pit stop" kept everyone going during the
18/15 training walk. Thanks to Kris Dombrowski (Route Safety)
and her fabulous pit stop!

Wildlife abounds at Stony!

* OK, there are no guarantees. You will have fun though, and you will be ready to walk!
