2014 Michigan 3-Day for the Cure

The BC Babes have been a part of the Komen 3-Day for the Cure breast cancer walk family since 2005. We're a team of women and men, walkers and crew, veterans and newbies, young and old, that all have one goal in sight – A world without breast cancer.

With their trusty co-captains, Beth Northman and Heather Peralta, this team comes together each year with a commitment to this goal unlike any other.

Training a chore?? No way with the BC Babes. Rain or shine, we’re out on the paths laughing, sharing and getting ready for the best weekend of the year!

Dreading the long 18/15 back to back training weekend? Not the Babes! They turn this into a fun walk with a tailgate party slipped in during the lunch break.

We’ve also added a variety of tastes tests into the mix. Want to know the best variety of M&M’s, Cheez-Its, Dill Pickle Chips? We’ve tried them all!

And fundraising is a breeze as we share ideas to help each of our team mates reach their fundraising goal.

So on August 7, 2015, the BC Babes will once again come together, tie on our pompons and walk 60 miles to get us that much closer to the ultimate goal - a world without breast cancer.
